How the technique works
Alpha Four Hands uses two therapists working simultaneously to create continuous, coordinated contact across more of the body than a single therapist can cover. Therapists synchronize tempo and pressure so movements flow from one practitioner to the other, producing overlapping coverage and a unified sensory experience that feels like one sustained, cohesive treatment.
Because two practitioners operate at once, the session emphasizes broad coverage and a steady, matched rhythm. That coordination requires clear communication between therapists and with you, so experience depends on synchronized timing and mutual awareness rather than any single specialized tool or product.
Booking and local logistics
Alpha Massage & Wellness is located in Minneapolis’s North Loop/Warehouse District, convenient to Target Field and light rail. That location supports early-morning and evening appointments for downtown professionals and event visitors. When booking, select two therapists; our online scheduler shows same-day availability and allows instant confirmation for commuter and event schedules.
Our service area includes Minneapolis plus St. Paul, St. Louis Park, Edina, Richfield and Bloomington. Clients coming from nearby suburbs often book around Target Field events or downtown commitments, so plan ahead when selecting two therapists — both must be chosen at booking to finalize the reservation.
Arrival and session flow
On arrival you'll complete a brief intake so both therapists understand preferences and any areas to avoid. Practitioners coordinate pressure and coverage, and they will check in at the start and during changes to confirm comfort. Standard professional draping preserves privacy; you remain covered except for the area being worked on.
The recorded session duration is 75 minutes; please confirm scheduling details when you book. Because two therapists are involved, transitions and wrap-up can be slightly more deliberate than a single-therapist visit, so allow time before or after for dressing and a brief consultation.
